Rice Hall James is an independent, investment management firm established in 1974
and headquartered in San Diego, California. Our diverse client base includes corporations,
Taft-Hartley plans, public funds, foundations, endowments and financial institutions
and high-net-worth individuals.
We focus exclusively on high-value-added investment strategies that benefit from
our original research. We are a Growth-at-a-Reasonable-Price (GARP) manager with
a keen focus on the “sweet spot” of the U.S. equity markets: reasonably priced,
less visible companies with unique business concepts or niche products that are
ripe for growth.
Our investment advisory services embrace a fundamentally driven, bottom-up research
approach. It’s the way we’ve always managed money. We’re inspired by the search
for unrecognized or undervalued growth stocks. These are growing companies whose
value has not yet been fully appreciated in the marketplace – and they are some
of the most captivating stories on America’s economic frontier.
